have you ever noticed...

...that, interestingly, soldiers seem to be the easiest people to talk to in airports? i suppose it makes sense because they travel all the time, but i marvel every time i notice it. i guess i don't think of them as having time to be friendly people.

i'm also mildly stunned that i talked to several people of my own accord on this round of airport visits, because we all know how i avoid humanity in general. all i'm saying is, watch out for devils in snowpants.
