yay for pumpkin day!

it just makes me happy to see people wandering around campus in costume. this should happen more often. my hero of the day is the kid in full scarecrow attire who even altered his walk to fit the character (and hung around outside the library generally being impressive with his bad self)... is that a totally 80s expression or a totally 90s one? i can't even remember any more.

anyways, costumes have made the list of "things that should be instituted more generally in america." (but they will never take the top spot away from naptime.)
