i just (finally) got my packet o' stuff from the university about all the crap i have to accomplish before august 16th, when i officially become a teaching assistant. not gonna lie, i'm excited. i am not, however, entirely sure who exactly i will be working for. still. which... yeah.

it will be interesting to see how intensive all of this becomes, especially given my three years of laziness since i last looked at anything school-like. i can pretty much promise i'll whine, no matter what; this is the sort of thing i say and briefly consider trying to do something about, but shrug and decide to be as horrible a person as it makes me instead. sometimes self-awareness isn't as useful as one might expect.

it's kind of funny how that first day of school feeling never dies, isn't it?
