things that make me more likely to cause a traffic accident

the radio news today had a blurb about travis county cops. apparently they're pulling over good drivers and giving them tickets to round rock express games. mildly retarded enough to be perfectly normal. except that i am nowhere near travis county, and it completely threw me off. the effort of sorting out what the fuck city i was in and why i was hearing about austin definitely diverted my attention from the road. that's twice in like four days that i've completely lost touch with reality in the car. i'm kind of getting a little worried, here, kids.
