do you know what's weird?

driving home from work at 11pm and nearly running over two geese that are just sitting by a sewer vent in the middle of the freaking parking lot. that's weird. granted, it was probably warmer there than anywhere else they'd recently considered sitting. but why the middle of the parking lot? and why were there only two of them? i'm thinking it might have something to do with the liquor store that was 500 feet away. but that's just me.
