POLYMATH! (sing it like you're announcing the arrival of a cheesy superhero)
my email from the dictionary this morning (yes, shut up) declared the word of the day to be: polymath \PAH-lee-math\ noun: a person of encyclopedic learning. this is more than a simple word. it is a title for my ambition in life, "real jobs" and "incomes" be damned. how come it took me so long to meet it?

boy: "when did you graduate high school? 2003?"
me: "um, yeah, i graduated from college in 2003"
*boy's eyes grow wide with something like fear* (poor little thing)

I've had a similar conversation quite often lately, only it goes:
me:when did you graduate high school again?
her:2001
me:right, and I graduated college in?
her:2000
me:so when I was getting my driver license you were?
her:at a sixth grade dance.
me:ok, just checking. I am a dirty old man.
ooooooh, I totally win this contest!!
me: where were you during the OJ Simpson trial?
him: college, why - where were you?
me: elementary school....
