hey, it's positive, go with it.

i'm in a REALLY good mood at the moment. partly it's the bleach (and the accomplishment of having my bathroom momentarily sparkling), but mostly i'm just excited because everyone's lives are taking off (grammar is skectchy, i am aware and ignoring it, shut up). and it's so much fun to watch what cool things they come up with and the amazing opportunities their hard work and dedication have earned them. yeah, sounds cheesy, but if you can't get excited about the huge transitional FUTURE, what the hell are you still alive for?

i think i'm learning that it's not so much a matter of "pick a direction and go," although there is definitely a place for that, as it is "focus on being excellent so you can take advantage of whatever opportunity decides to materialize." maybe that's just the perfectionist in me. but i tend to surround myself with perfectionists, so there's no one to dissuade me of that notion. nicely constructed box, no?

and my attention has become rapidly diverted (yep, bleach), so i'm just going to say yay for all the super fantastic people i know doing all sorts of exciting things and go play with something else. buh bye!
