fun with unsuspecting people

you know what entertains me? well, what else? letting hairdressers style my hair however they please before i leave. the results are almost always ridiculous and never fail to make me laugh (since i very carefully never plan anything important afterwards). today's gem is... sort of curly in an 80s way and stands out a good four inches from my face. i suppose i should have warned her that even though it may have looked "a little curly," it's actually quite curly, even in this dry climate, and my hair + blowdrier = HUGE. tee hee hee. i love it when you can catch the surprised look that they quickly try to cover by telling you how wonderful it looks... sort of like beezus's haircut in ramona and her mother, only i'm expecting it and have no illusions of looking like a figure skater. yeah, it's probably evil. but if i smile sweetly and tip well, who does it hurt? plus, i get a haircut and a good case of the giggles.
